**Consult a physician at the first signs and symptoms of infection, including, but not limited to redness, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site**
The aftercare wrap minimizes the risk of infection by protecting your tattoo so it can heal through its own natural method. This wrap is meant to stay on for five days and eliminates the hassle of the traditional aftercare process. Be sure to always wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and warm water before handling your tattoo also use clean bed linens and bath/shower towels throughout the healing process.
1. Once the wrap is on, you may resume daily activities including showers (no soaking).
2. If any bubbles of plasma form after, you may poke with a clean needle to let it drain out. If there is a lot of drainage come back to the shop to clean and re-wrap be sure to give us a call first.
3. On the fifth day remove the wrap, we recommend removing it in the shower. Start at a corner and slowly pull as the water rolls through.
4. Give your tattoo a good wash with antibacterial soap then use non scented lotion after.
That is it! Your tattoo should be fully healed. If at any moment you have any concerns please do not hesitate to call us and ask.
